The Open Orchestras programme runs in line with the academic year. The next window to register a special school or setting into the programme will be between Thursday 01 May and Friday 30 May 2025, for delivery in the 2025-26 academic year.

Participation in the Open Orchestras programme is by annual subscription. Open Orchestras go from strength to strength each year.. The longest-running Open Orchestra is 12 years old!
What happens next?
If you register to run an Open Orchestra, your team’s training will start in June 2025 with online Induction Training, and your weekly orchestra sessions will begin from September 2025.
